Mickey Jello Jigglers

How cute are these Mickey Jello Jigglers, I used my mickey mold commonly used for muffins and did Jigglers instead, too cute and so simple!  These are a perfect way to add a little Mickey Magic to any meal or snack.  Not to mention with blue berries in season and the 4th of July right around the corner this cute red, white and blue color scheme is perfect for a 4th of July backyard barbecue!

Matterhorn Rice Krispie Treats - Fast Pass Friday

 How cute are these Matterhorn Rice Crispy Treats?!  I so excited how they turned out and they are just as tasty! If you're like me and this Summer heat has you craving the icy peaks of the Matterhorn bobsled run then these will be a hit! Such a fun way to capture a fun, iconic & beloved Disneyland attraction and bring the magic of it home!

Details: Rice Krispies, White Chocolate for dipping & grated white chocolate shavings for an extra snowy look!  For shaping we just used our hands to form the base of the mountain and then waited a few minutes for it to firm up and then built on the top half.  We then let them cool and later dipped them in melted white chocolate!

Captain America Shield Fruit Pizza

Captain America Shield Fruit Pizza in celebration of Summer of Heroes! Not to mention, how perfect is this for 4th of July celebrations?! Hero up and be the hit of the party with this delicious fruit pizza! 

Details: Sugar Cookie, sweetened condescend milk based frosting, and strawberries, raspberries & blue berries.        

Monte Cristo

Dreaming of one of the ultimate Disneyland foods today, the Monte Cristo! This is like a meal, a treat, a work of art and a mouth watering life changing experience all rolled into one.  It's a sliced turkey, ham, and swiss fried in a light batter and served with Berry Puree dusted with Powdered Sugar.  This is so rich and full of flavor your taste buds will thank you.  We always end up sharing this one because 2 pieces seem to be just the right amount for us with this rich and decadent delight! Book reservations at Cafe Orleans (lunch or dinner) or the Blue Bayou (lunch) before your trip!
   

Mickey Chocolate-Dipped Rice Krispie Treats

Love these cute chocolate dipped Mickey Rice Krispie treats drizzled with white chocolate and sprinkled with edible glitter.  Edible glitter is a great addition to any type of Disney baking and adds that extra touch of magic, even a little Pixie Dust if you will! We used the Mickey cookie cutter we got at Disneyland as a mold to get that classic Mickey shape and they were a hit!

Main Street Electrical Parade Cake

Missing this cute Main Street Electrical Parade themed cake we tried a couple weeks ago during our visit to the Parks!  You can find it in Disneyland at the Plaza Inn near the entrance of Tomorrowland! With all the different flavors, every bite packed a different punch!
The best word to describe it is delightful, with it's fun cake flavors, frosting and decorative fruit flavors on the plate we would definitely share this one again! Get it fast before they're gone!  

Minnie Cake & Introduction

Hey, welcome to Mickey Munchies.  I am so excited to begin this journey and share so many fun ideas with you!  I LOVE visiting Disney theme parks, Disneyland is my home away from home and I obsess over all the cute & magical treats they create!  Since I was little I remember food being the highlight of our Disneyland trips!  After returning home, as we would be making treats and meals as a family we would come up with ways we could make what we baked into a shape of a Mickey or some Disney themed treat! Coming up with creative ways to bring that magic home has brought me and my family joy for years and I look forward to sharing those ideas here!

First is this AmaZinG Minnie cake my mom did for my birthday!  We searched for ideas online and then combined quite a few different ideas and some ideas of her own to make it one of my favorite cakes to date!
